In today's dynamic and ever-evolving threat environment, it is essential for public and private sector partners to coordinate and collaborate. It is only by building relationships and proactively sharing information that we can grow our knowledge base and protect the United States and the companies within it. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) Private Sector Engagement Program provides continual opportunities for public and private sector entities to engage with one another. The Private Sector Engagement Program's Corporate Security Symposia are a series of regional day-long conferences held around the country to generate discussion among public and private sector partners regarding some of the most challenging issues our nation faces today.
The corporate security symposia focus on topics that are critical to our national security. Events feature prominent speakers from both the public sector and the private sector who shed light on issues such as cyber security, infrastructure protection, global intelligence, communications, border security, and insider threats. Past companies that have hosted Corporate Security Symposia include Sony, Bloomberg, McDonald's, and Gulfstream.
What the Symposia Can Do For You
The Private Sector Engagement Program facilitates corporate security symposia to provide a forum for public and private sector partners to discuss current and emerging security threats relevant to their regions, with a strong focus on the businesses, infrastructure, and cyber security systems within them. These events provide opportunities to forge new relationships and strengthen existing ones to foster mutual success in mitigating threats.
