The FBI and DHS also provide a variety of free resources for corporate, public use. These resources are additional tools DSAC member companies can use to help tackle security issues and maintain a strong security posture within their organizations.

DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) Private Sector Engagement – Learn more about DHS I&A’s private sector engagement initiatives including the Public-Private Analytic Exchange Program (AEP) and upcoming Corporate Security Symposiums.

AEP Deliverables – Read unclassified products written jointly by analysts and security professionals from the public and private sectors on select national security and homeland security issues.

CISA Insider Risk Mitigation Self-Assessment Tool – Assess a company’s vulnerability to insider threats.

CISA Stop Ransomware – Seek tools to help prevent attacks that can severely impact business processes and leave organizations without the data they need to operate and deliver mission-critical services.

CISA Stuff off Search – Get your Stuff Off Search (S.O.S.) and reduce internet attack surfaces that are visible to anyone on web-based search platforms.

CISA Tabletop Exercises Package – Seek assistance in conducting tabletop exercises, and initiate discussions internally on addressing a variety of threat scenarios. 

FBI Report: Making Prevention a Reality – Assess and manage the threat of targeted violence using concrete strategies to help communities prevent these types of incidents.

FBI Report: A Study of Pre-Attack Behaviors of Active Shooters in the US – Identify, assess, and manage those who may be on the pathway to violence by the examination of specific behaviors that may precede an attack.

FBI: Prevent Mass Violence - Following a "See What, Tell Who" approach, find an overview of common concerning behaviors with recommendations of what to do with such information to prevent acts of mass violence. In addition to links to BAU resources and research, there are brochures for specific settings (workplace, educational, and healthcare) as well as an overall bystander focused brochure. All these brochures are meant to be downloadable/printable and used in any of the settings noted.
